The NSW government has announced a $100,000 reward to solve the murder of a Sydney taxi driver, shot twice at the door to his Kellyville home in front of his six year-old son.
Masoud Faroughi was murdered on February 25, 2006, in a killing that has left police baffled.
NSW Police Minister David Campbell on Saturday offered a $100,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of his killers.
"This was a shocking, violent murder and those responsible need to be brought to justice," Mr Campbell said.
"Someone out there knows the killers or knows who was behind the murder an they should come forward."
Police say that two suspects were at the front door of Mr Faroughi's northern Sydney home when he was gunned down, while residents witnessed a 4WD speed off after the shooting.
"This man was executed in his family home while standing with his son - it's an awful case that needs to be solved," Mr Campbell said.
"The Faroughi family has lost a husband and a father - and they deserve answers."
