Police raid ninth drug house in Sydney

Police have raided a ninth drug house in Sydney as part of a wide-ranging investigation, this time in the western suburb of Auburn.
The raid in Auburn just after 7pm (AEST) Friday follows eight other raids in the city's south-west, most of them in the suburb of Blair Athol, conducted by police from Operation Moonlight.
In Friday night's raid, police seized documents and other records relating to the coordination of drug cultivation in the Blair Athol area.
Three people were arrested after raids in Blair Athol early Friday, with three people due to appear in Parramatta Local Court later Saturday.
A 40-year-old man has been charged with cultivating a commercial quantity of a prohibited plant and a 38 year-old man has been charged with altering or adding to electricity installation for metering, cultivating a commercial quantity of a prohibited plant and enhanced indoor cultivation for a commercial purpose.
A 36-year-old woman has been charged with enhanced indoor cultivation for a commercial purpose and cultivating commercial quantity of a prohibited plant.
The raid on the home in St Monica Place was the third in the suburb on Saturday and the seventh since Monday.
Police allege the raid at St Monica Place uncovered about 100 plants and a similar number of plants were allegedly found after in homes at Kraal Drive and Mary Brown Place on Saturday.
Friday night's Auburn raid brings the total of drug houses uncovered by Operation Moonlight to nine, including one home at Bradbury last week.
Police have seized around 1,500 plants with a total value of more than $10 million.
